Wildfire Awareness Month

Assisted by grant funds from the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Division of Forestry and U.S. Forest Service, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension coordinates Nevada Wildfire Awareness Month (NWAM) each year. Additional funding from program partners, support from corporate sponsors and other in-kind funding all contribute to the effort. View or download the NWAM 2017 Summary Report, detailing this year’s effort. None of this would be possible without the support from the 179 partners who collaborated on these efforts this year.  Scroll down to see the list.

If you would like to get involved with NWAM 2018 or for more information, please contact Sonya Sistare at 775-887-2252 or [email protected] or find a local contact on the planning committee .
